Transferring your phone number from one carrier to another requires certain details from your current provider. The most crucial pieces of information needed are: Account Number (identifies your specific mobile account with your carrier) and PIN (Porting PIN) (a security code used to authorize the transfer). Below is a detailed carrier-by-carrier guide to help you find this information quickly.
A
Airvoice Wireless
Account Number: Your SIM card number. PIN: The last four digits of your phone number.
AT&T
Account Number: Found in the upper right-hand corner of your bill or online account. Enter it without dashes. PIN: Call *PORT (7678) and be ready to provide them your Account PIN number for validation.
AT&T Business
Account Number: Provided by AT&T Business support or found on the billing statement. PIN: AT&T Business does not use NTP (Number Transfer PINs) ; Enter your account PIN number, (AT&T likes to call this for FAN PIN)
AT&T GoPhone (Prepaid)
Account Number: Dial 611 from your AT&T GoPhone or contact 1-800-901-9878. PIN: Set up when you opened your account. Call AT&T if you need to reset it.

Boost Mobile
Account Number: Call 1-888-266-7848 to request it. PIN: A four-digit security code. If unknown, contact Boost customer service.
C
CenturyLink
Account Number: Enter the phone number as the account number without any dashes, spaces, or periods. PIN: Default is 0000.
Cincinnati Bell / i-Wireless
Account Number: Call 1-877-595-2229. PIN: Must be set up at least 24 hours before starting the port.
Comcast (Xfinity Mobile)
Account Number: Found on your bill or in your online account. (Usually starts with a 1 or 2) - - If you have Internet or Home Phone service, you will have 2 separate account numbers (Not the one starting with a 8). PIN: 6 digit Number Transfer PIN, Customer Service cannot generate this (we learned the hard way), Download the Xfinity app to generate the Number Transfer PIN, if the app isn't working login to Xfinity.com/mobile.
Need extra help, they have this "Comcast Carrier Services Website" "carriers.xfinity.com" where they say the Esclations phone number for Xfinity Mobile ports is 844.963.0117 or 844.963.0270 or [email protected]
Consumer Cellular
Account Number: Available online or by calling 1-888-345-5509. PIN: Last four digits of the account holder’s SSN (or 0000). Porting Center Number: 1-888-750-5519. ⚠️ Important: Consumer Cellular does not typically use PINs. If a port request fails due to mismatched information, contact customer support for manual approval.

Account Number: Call 1-800-643-4926 to request. PIN: Customer support will verify your identity by asking for your last three outgoing calls.

Account Number: Log into My Account → Account Settings. PIN: Not displayed online. Contact customer service.

Account Number: A 17-digit number (starts with your 10-digit phone number). PIN: Found on the paper bill or in your My Accountportal.

Google Fi
Account Number: Listed in your Google Fi account. PIN: Must be generated from your Google Fi account settings before porting.
Google Voice
Account Number: Your 10-digit MDN. PIN: The same PIN used for Google Voice voicemail. ⚠️ Important: Google Voice numbers take 5-7 days to port.

Account Number: 11-digit number. Call 1-866-277-3221 for assistance. PIN: A four-digit CIP number sent via text when you registered. If forgotten, call LycaMobile support.

Metro by T-Mobile (MetroPCS)
Account Number: 9-digit number found on your online account under “Payments.” PIN: Call-in passcode, usually an 8-digit birth date unless changed.

Onvoy
Account Number: Must be requested from Onvoy customer support. PIN: Must be requested. ⚠️ Important: The port request must match Onvoy’s records exactly. Contact 1-866-388-7258 for verification.
Ooma
Account Number: Your 10-digit phone number with a “1” in front.
PIN: There is no PIN number. If your new phone provider asks for it, they can leave it blank.

Sprint / Sprint Prepaid

Straight Talk
Account Number: Your phone’s IMEI/MEID, or last 15 digits of your SIM card number. PIN: Found under “Update Personal Profile” on your online account or Text the word "NTP" to 611611.
T
T-Mobile
Account Number: 9-digit number found on your bill or online account. PIN: Call 1-877-453-1304 for assistance.
If you have a personal account, you will need to generate a Temporary Port Out PIN (TPOP) to move your phone number from T-Mobile. Use the steps below to generate your PIN in the T-Life app or on T-Mobile.com, then provide it to your new service provider.
Only the Primary Account Holder will be able to generate a Temporary Port Out PIN.
Log in to the T-Life app from your device while on the T-Mobile network, with Wi-Fi turned off.
Select the Manage Tab.
Select the gear icon in the top right corner.
Select Permission & controls.
Select Transfer PIN.
Select Get a transfer PIN.
You may be asked for further account verification.
If you’re not using your phone on the T-Mobile network for the request, an error will display with the next steps (see “Having Trouble” above), and you’ll be able to try again while on our network using your phone and Wi-Fi switched off.
The temporary PIN displays on the screen. Make note of temporary PIN.
Select Okay.
Be sure to disable Port Out Protection on the line (if active) in order to use the Temporary Port-Out PIN.

Verizon
Account Number: Found on your bill or online account. (Skip after the dash). PIN: A 6-digit number transfer pin found in your account settings in the My Verizon App. "For a easy link call #PORT and a text message with a link to Generate the PIN in the app will be sent to your device"
Call 1-800-922-0204 if needed and speak with the Porting Department.
Open the My Verizon app, Tap the account tab at the bottom, Sign In using your My Verizon password (not your account PIN). Scroll Down to "Devices" and select your line.
Scroll Down to the "Device Management" section and select the option "Number Transfer Pin"
Select "Generate PIN"
a 6 digit Number Transfer Pin will appear along with the "Account Number" and a expiration date for the Number Transfer PIN"
The following text message is sent to the Verizon device "Verizon Msg: We just generated a Number Transfer PIN allowing your mobile number to transfer to a new carrier. If you didn't request this, reply CANCEL or call 800-786-8274 now."
Visible
Account Number & Port-Out PIN : Using the Visible App
Before requesting the Port-Out PIN, make sure Line Lock is toggled to Unlocked.
Open the Visible app and navigate to the Account section.
Tap Port-Out PIN: request via email to request your Port-Out PIN.
Check your email or text messages for a message containing your:
Port-out PIN (unique 6-digit PIN)
Account Number
Phone number
